TheRumiStudio was founded by Susmita Sengupta on the idea of providing enterprise grade value added services to growth stage small to medium size companies to enable them for strategic and sustained growth by bringing her wealth of experience in the industry across sectors of building and launching products, driving transformation, managing risk and creating bottomline results. Through TheRumiStudio, Susmita aims to focus on helping innovation businesses in driving meaningful change and impact.

Susmita is on a mission to build long-lasting success for organizations by building organizational excellence throughout their value chain. Her approach aims to augment and amplify the impact for her clients, help nurture and build sustainable operating models, as well as foster a culture of continuous innovation and adaptation.

Prior to embarking on her entrepreneurial journey, Susmita was a Director of Enterprise Strategy Execution at LendingClub, a Fintech company based in San Francisco where she worked at the helm of driving and managing true business transformation including Product and Growth Strategy, Tech Stack Modernization, Process Optimization, Gen AI adoption, and Post Merger Integration and sustainability efforts. Previously, Susmita was a Senior Manager in the Advisory Business at PwC (PricewaterhouseCoopers) where she led major transformation initiatives for global clients including target operating model redesign, risk and regulatory compliance, and Go-to-Market research for Fortune 100 companies. At Accenture, she delivered design and implementation of large CRM projects for EMEA clients across the public sector and telecom verticals.

Susmita completed the Strategy Execution Program at Harvard Business School in 2023. She holds a Masters degree in Management Information Systems from Mays Business School, Texas A&M University, and a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from Rajiv Gandhi Technical University, India. Susmita also is an art lover and indulges in music, painting, cinema, pottery among others.
